A while ago I saw a place selling "impossible bottles" and I thought it would be fun to make one. Does anyone know where I can learn how to make them?

People tend to get funny about this subject and Jamie Grant's bottles. The AOA method is quite well known and easily figured out by non magicians, Jamie's is not. I own one of Jamie's bottles, and I've also got my own one that I made using the AOA method; most people will know they are quite different techniques, Jamie's being of exceptional quality, and I mean worth $100 exceptional. I've seen at least a couple of threads go bad on this topic, so I'd thought I'd have my input.

With that being said, I'd highly recommend trying to make your own, its very fun and satisfying, and you don't need AOA either, I'm pretty sure you can find simple instructions for free online.

Thanks for the help. I always thought impossible bottles were really cool and thought that it would be fun to make one over the upcoming Christmas break.

Buddy of mine recently started making these. Not a deck of cards, yet. He's working with other objects. Apparently there's a significant amount of people who like to make them - go figure. Probably a forum somewhere for it, too.

I have one of Jaime's bottles and I'm not unhappy with it. It's a great conversation piece, and it looks gorgeous too. He found the perfectly shaped bottle, in my opinion.

Impossible bottles are quite simple, in text that is. Essentially you put a deck in a bottle starting with the card box and then do the same thing with each single card. There are some instructables out there showing a more detailed explanation but the general description just given is essentially the secret.

That's the basic one, though. Really good ones are things of beauty.

But you can do it with more than cards. The buddy I referenced had two tennis balls in a milk bottle similar to what Jaime's bottles look like.
