So a while back I read a book on Dai Vernon and it mentioned, at one point, the greatest trick he ever created. After a bit more research I discovered that this was the name he gave to his talent at improvising magic tricks on the spot (It was mentioned that no matter what card was name, he could find a creative and ingenious method of finding it right off the bat). I do this as a hobby every now and then myself and have pulled of some outstanding stuff. There's nothing like having a card put into the deck and having as little clue as the spectator as to whats happening next.
-Favorite improv moment-
Me. "Do me a favor and name any card, any card you'd like."
Spectator. "Five of Hearts."
Me. Turns over deck and the five of hears is on the bottom.
Spectator. "Random swearing."
