Invisible Thread

Well, here I sit fiddling with some invisible thread that I have neglected (I'm sorry, my thin friend!) and I decided I wanted to work up a good effect with the deck. Well, my loops definitely don't hold up when trying to move 20 or so cards. I have the PET 2.0 from Penguin and I am just curious if anybody has managed to get this thread working with a pack. If not, would anybody mind pointing me in the direction of a good supplier of sturdier thread that might accomplish the task at hand? Thank you for any input!

Peace

I use Yigal Mesika's Elastics.

Now in all honesty, moving decks can be a small issue, doing repeatedly, but its fairly strong so once you get used to it, there should be no issue at all.

Get used to the feeling of the thread, and you will know when its at its peak or weakness and is about to break :p

I cannot recommend Silk Worm Invisible Elastic Thread ENOUGH.....it's absolutely the best IET i've ever worked with.....it's the strongest (in my opinion) IET out there.

and...as a super awesome bonus, it comes in 3 flavours.....black (which can be stripped into 4 smaller strands), clear, and the new Opaque.

find it at Murphy's or at Morrissey's Magic.

P.S. Working on a video for tying your own loops. Need to finish some research first. Anyone have any good contacts / connections for loop tying? I've got my own method that I use, but I want to make sure that I'm not copying anyone's idea.....and if I (accidentally) am, that I get their blessing for making the video / teaching the method.

The Pet 2.0 is supposed to be like the most invisible IET around. Which consequentially makes it really weak.

Ive heard so many good things about Silk Worm. And theyre only 15 bucks. I think Im going to get myself a reel... or 3.

Also Check out Infinity thread. Pay 80 bucks and your set for life. They come pretty thick but you can split them into 3 or 4 thinner lines.

Yigal's loops are classic. But I think the other IETs are starting to make Yigal's more and more obselete.

Samuel, I'm actually interested in PET 2.0 but Penguin doesn't have it anymore. Any chance I can buy yours off you?
