Well i recently created a trick involving a color separation. Now because there are many color separation tricks out there i just want to know if mine is original. so heres a description of the effect:
Two cards are selected by two spectators (one card is black and one card is red, but you dont point that out). You stick both cards in the deck and and cleanly show the cards outjogged and you turn them face up to confirm it's really their cards going into the deck. There cards are legitimately pushed in (no breaks held). The magician now takes a random card, he says it's the "fuse card" and outjogs it in the middle. You magician flicks the outjogged card and activated the fuse and half of the deck flips face up into the magician's other hand. The two halves are spread. One half contains all black cards with one red card in the middle that is face down. The other half contains all red cards with one black card in the middle, face down. The two face down cards are the selections.
The cards can be signed. There are no breaks held throughout the trick. And i must emphasize that the opposite color card appears FACE DOWN. I've seen trick where the opposite color card is face up. This trick is different.
So if you recognize this trick could you please tell me who made it so i know the proper credits? If this trick is original, please help me think of a name for it.
Thanks!
