Just had a crazy idea.

I think that would completely ruin the idea of having Jerry's and Wynns, if everybody can have them. They'd become worthless, because very few would be able to tell the difference between them and the originals. I do think it would be all right if they sold normal decks, but I can pick a two-pack up at Wal-Mart for $3, so I doubt theory11 would have them cheaper than that.

You know, as cool as that sounds...I'm sure that there would have to be some serious copywrite enfringements going on with the original deck designs. But, I must say that I never would have thought about that. So, in that aspect, good thinking!

First of all these are cards and I wouldn't pay 180 dollars for cards because they are rare. The designs would change like comparing normal bikes to black tigers. It would definately be sold out in it's first week if theory11 made some, I mean E's releasing black ghosts why can't theory11 do something like that. Also when I go to Wal-Mart you buy a deck for 4 dollars total with tax so it would be good to sell them some online for a normal price, and it would be way better then E's prices.

Also if they would make custom decks for out of print cards like Jerry's and Wynns, but with a different stock or their own special theory11 stock.

But then the people with jerry's idk about wynns but they would feel cheated, they bought theirs for $100+ and now they sell it cheap for less than $50. u get what im saying? it loses all meaning for the people who have jerrys. like if i had jerrys and they did that id say something like "I paid $100+ bucks for this deck and now they sell it so cheap?!"

That does suck, but don't forget that this is a business and people should know that eventually cards will be re made like E's black ghost. On ebay it costs 300 dollars and in 2008, E will sell the new second edition for 8.99.

But I don't think you understand, it would ruin the whole idea behind magicians being proud of their Jerry's and Wynns. When you see a magician performing with Jerry Nugget Cards, you know he takes this art seriously. But if Theory11mass-marketed them, even with a different stock or whatever, then every little kid from YouTube would have them, claiming that their deck is the "real deal". Just because you're unwilling to pay that much for a rare deck, it doesn't mean that t11 should ruin the fun behind having them and giving them away in t11 contests and stuff like that.

So put away $5 a week out of your allowance or so, and slowly save up for one. Or, for every bit of money you get, put half of it away so that you can spend it on magic... that's what I do. The other half I'm using to save up for a car.

1) I don't feel like spending 100 dollars on cards, especialy having not to use them because I would be dissapointed on ruining an expenive deck.

2) I'm already saving money for The encyclepedia of playing card flourishes, Xtreme begginerz 2, Panic, Shadow Masters, and black ghosts.

nope... it means you know he is a fanboy with more money than sense.
