Honestly the Balducci has never failed me. Kills people every time. It's all about the presentation and the "fall". You've got to be convincing.
As for Criss Angel's levitation vs. Icarus ...
I'd say Icarus simply for the fact that it's viewed from the front. Seems like there's less you could be hiding.

Skywalker looks ok, it's a bit uncomfortable though and requires an amount of balance, if you imagine elevator but a bit less solid feeling..
