Also I am now uploading my magic to my NEW channel (JustJoshinMagic) so please make sure you subscribe!

Thanks =]

P.S. I just got the green screen so I am still working on how to use it better =]

dont really like the fork bending.
it is kinda like you just bend the forks like its no big deal.
i had a conversation with Paul draper on my fork bending routine, and even with my routine where i actually strain to bend the fork he said there was no reason for the bending. if i could bend metal that easy why not go work for some metal company and just bend metal into engines and screws and other metal things. why am i sitting around bending forks.
think about your reasons for bending. why are you only bending forks for a magic show, rather than go out and really use those powers to make huge money or make important metal things.
if u wanna talk about this more u can pm me. but yea. im a huge fan of forkbending in general.

I LOVE that you are performing constantly for live audience, and love that you film most of them, and love the reactions. HOWEVER, looks like you haven't take almost any advice given to you from the previous videos. Your presentation is still WAY too fast. Slow down, magic is better when taken slowly (that's what she said). Keep up the magic, but please try to apply some of the advice that guys give on this forum.

Cheers

IMHO, that's a bit over stretch (if that is even a phrase). If you look at it that way, there would be no reason for doing any magic at all. If you can really change one card into another, wouldn't you be in Las Vegas making tons of money in poker rooms? If you can really read minds, wouldn't you make millions off of the game shows? If you can really predict the future, wouldn't you make millions predicting lotery?
On the other hand, I complitely agree with you that you need a reason for bending fork, and basically a reason for doing any type of magic.

Ditto everything Toby said on the pros and cons. Read what he said again and imagine it coming out of my face. :)

Haha thanks for the feedback... actually I HAVE take the advice I got last time, this was all footage that I filmed PRIOR to that advice being given lol. I have about 3-4 hours of magic that was filmed right before I had a gig in mid-October (where the majority of the clips are from) Since then I have slowed down a lot... sorry if I didn't make that clear lol. Thanks for the feedback!

Matt - lol that made me laugh

Chris - I can see your point... I HAVE been working on some patter for it, these clips were from my first time performing Liquid Metal for someone other than my reflection. Right now, the patter I am working on is kind of based around comic book superheroes and the Matrix lol

Thanks everyone for the great advice and feedback! I have been listening and taking into consideration what has been said lol. I'll just put a disclaimer out there that my next several videos (prob like the next 7-8) will all have been filmed PRIOR to getting any feedback from you guys so if it looks like I'm ignoring what is being said thats why. I really appreciate everyones input!

Thanks =]

0:10 - Almost blew my speakers out. Please adjust the sound levels next time.
0:39 - Not only did it go too fast, it was too easy.
0:42 - That inset is really distracting. Which one am I supposed to be looking at?
0:51 - Stop cutting! You're not giving me time to process what just happened. You cut to the kitchen, then away as if to say, "Eh, that shot's not working out, let's try this one!"
1:05 - Another distracting inset.
1:22 - Not much of a reveal. And once again, just too easy. No drama.
1:33 - At the risk of sounding like a broken record, no more insets. They're distracting as all hell.
1:39 - You're not giving them time to react.
1:57 - Too fast. No buildup.
2:07 - I'm going to stop right here and just go by the words of Jon Stetson: At this point, it's not metal bending, it's balloon twisting.

I have already addressed the points about the routine being too fast and not as "magical" so I will reply to your other comments.

About the insets it was an idea I got from another video... I had about 17 diff videos of me doing this routine and I didn't want to have the video be like 40 min long lol It sounded like a good idea at the time lol. Next time I think I'll just throw that in if I have another angle (like I did with the spec cam in previous videos).

Any other editing tips? I felt that as a whole this was one of my better videos editing wise, but I am open to any suggestions!

Lose the insets and pick the cherries of the performance videos. Also, if you have a few seconds of people reacting and such after the routine I'd recommend leaving those in to give the viewer time to react as well. It's already been said but I figured one more vote wouldn't hurt. ;)

Except for the extreme speed which you've already confirmed that you're working on now it was a good performance and video. I enjoyed it!

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah the insets were just an idea I wanted to try out. Thanks for your thoughts!
