Loops - Haunted Pack

Hello I have a question about the Haunted Pack taught on the Booklet thingo that comes with a pak of Loops. In the Haunted Pack there is a ending to it in witch the deck closes by itself I have a problem with it when ever I try to do the move the Loops breaks. Do you have any advice.

Can't you just stretch them out more before you use them?

ive never had a successful haunted pack using loops
they break to damn easy

besides
floating paper/rubber bands and moving pop cans and stuff are more exciting
