Hey guys, I know people ask this like 34/7 (thats not a typo)
but i know what the m5 is, and im not sure if im allowed to say it here, although it is pretty obvious

but the device can kill compuiters, cell fones etc.

Question is - if im wearing a light jacket, like one of those black thin ones, and i have the m5 in the left pocket and my phoen in my right, will the m5 ruin my phone? thats less than a foot of distance, with some clothing in between.

also, if it wear it on my leg, will it mess up a computer if i walk past one on the floor?

For the cell phone in the other pocket part nothing will happen to the phone because your body is stopping the magnetism to reach your phone and also the m5 is not that strong. For the computer part it depends how close you walk to the computer.
Also what you do need to be careful is if you have the m5 in a pocket notice when you are walking next to metal objects because the last thing you want is to walk in the street and suddenly stick to a light pole and every body thinking you have something for metal poles.

my opinion,

m5 = waste of time, money..

its too risky, unsafe and not practical for a real street performer.

Good ideas for the effects, but they cant be carried out in a safe way! Good for TV and one of filming instances. But who wants their whole performance restraicted by such a heavy object!

Not worth it in my eyes, some people may think different tho :)

The blackberry cell phone actually works WITH the gimmick. The phones on/off feature is built into its case. So no, if you have a blackberry, the phone and the m5 can be in the same pocket and nothing with happen. This is true for most new cell phones. However, the fear with hard drives is legit... but when are you gonna stick you m5 on your hard drive?

That's totally safe. If you think M5 is unsafe that's like comparing Warning to a plague
that kills magicians. It's not heavy. Not waste of time and money totally worth it. Yeah it's sorta heavy but you can use it in instances where the weight doesn't matter. E.g in your pocket.:D
