Where do all you guys get your magic other than the internet? (just wondering)

What about your decks other than the internet?

What is your local magic shop and where is it located? What state? (e.g. Missouri, Texas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, etc!) You can be more specific!

What is the name of the shop? ;)
My local magic shop is Hank Lees!

Hope everyones enjoying 2008!:p

The Illusion Warehouse west Fort Worth, Texas. Owned and run by the great Bruce Chadwick. The name should ring a bell to long standing members of I.B.M. and T.A.O.M. members. He's my mentor and I owe everything to him. Thanks Bruce!

Grand Illusions

I shop at Grand Illusions in Sacramento, California. It is owned by Steve Johnson and is a AWESOME magic shop and a place to hang out.

Well, I'll post a review of my Magic Shop to help you out Blink...even though I live in Canada, if you ever come by Vancouver you'll know where to go.

Well my local magic shop I go to is Called "Clownin' Around Magic". It is rather hidden, and not real mainstream. It's hard to explain if you've never been to Granville Island in Vancouver, which is a section of downtown.

It is owned by Amanda, who's last name I can't remember, who is a member of the Vancouver IBM and has owned and run the store for the past 7 years. When Amanda is not there, Joe (who's last name I will not expose) works the counter, and is seriously an awesome guy. He has a few of his own books he's made, and had a few effects featured by major artists. Hes really helpful, and he's helped me a lot with my sleights, and finger positioning as well, as teaching me some stuff from old books which have barely seen the light of day.

There is numerous DVD's in there, which is behind the counter, they order from basically all major retailers, and if your lucky they may special order something for you but, it will be about 7 dollars more due to shipping and they have to make a profit. But, DVD's from Ellusionist, BlacksMagicGroup, MJM, Penguin and much more are always in stock. Not to mention cards, such as ALL of E's specialty decks (expect Shadow Masters, I bought the last one yesterday) as well as Gaff Decks, Invisible Decks, and more.

For Coin workers, they have a huge amount of Kuepper gaff coins, and other flippers and such. As well as giant coins, small coins, shimmed, anything you can think of. Or, just silver dollars to use in your coin routines.

It's a small place but, seriously they're awesome. I don't know where I'd be without them. So, if you ever come by Vancouver British Columbia, shoot me a pm and we'll go to Clownin' Around for a day haha.

dont have one i hate it.

Norfolk, Virginia and the internet market ate all the shops up there is not one around me. i searched got a hold of one and the closed their store down and went strictly internet im pissed. so that you internet for killing magic in my town. i am all about supporting my local shop but when there isnt one i get upset. the internet isnt the best, somtimes you just want something right now.

I wish I was as lucky as you guys...

I live in Fayetteville, North Carolina and the closest "good" magic shop is around an hour drive away. I don't even have my license yet.

There's this guy in town that has a little magic shop, thinks he's good and he only does sleightless and simple tricks. I think he does stage magic too, but his so called "shop" is a rag!

I can only get my stuff from the net.

I used to go to a shop at underground atlanta (Georiga), which was the closet to me, still being a semi long drive away. Sadly they shut down :(. If anyone knows of any other good magic shops around the atlanta/alpharetta area that would be great .
