Hey I have been using loops for a little while now and I just came across the Million Dollar Knot by penguin. I have searched around for reviews and found both pros and cons. But I was really wondering if it was worth it...I mean the con that keeps coming up it that the IET that you tie into loops isn't strong enough to do effects like the haunted deck..

So I was just wondering what you guys though....
Thanks

Whatever it is, it's probably a ripoff. If you're having trouble tying loops, just use a double figure 8 knot. Basically you connect the ends together with tape and pretend it's one piece of thread. You tie the knot like a regular one, but you go around twice before you go through the hole. If you're having trouble, just look on fishing or boating websites.

Well, strangely I think that Ben basically gave the million dollar knot in 2 sentences.... I don't consider it exposure though since I haven't been able to make it work even with stronger thread. What I do is tie one knot like Ben said instead of 2, and then tie a square knot on top of that. I've found that if the thread breaks using this it rarely breaks from the knot slipping.
