What does a magician see compared to laymen? Our perception is very different, and it will only become more unique. I know every time I look around the corner, I don't see room, I see thousands of ideas, tools and props. I see creations, my mind flows with fun thoughts and imaginative stories. I don't see a room, I see magic.
Since the first time I did a magic trick, I saw the world differently. Instead of the local town being a place to shop, it became a performance area, and every time I drove by, it became a creation. My imagination ran wild with ideas of performance spots, people to perform to, and things to perform. For me, this was no longer the local town, it was a stage. It was the stage that would be home to my magic, to my imagination and to my creations.
When someone asks me what it's like to do magic every day, and to perform every day, I tell them that it's a blessing. It is a blessing to see the faces of every single spectator light up. It is a blessing to do something I love. It is a blessing to entertain, amaze, and enjoy. It is a blessing to create miracles and perform those miracles. And it is a blessing to bring joy to people who have none, and to bring happiness to people who are lacking it.
How can I accomplish this? Wouldn't it be cool to do this? Every object I see, I create magic in my head. Even if it is not real, the pure thoughts of doing something utterly impossible with an object of any nature gives me a rush. People tell me I have an addiction, but I don't think so. I think I have a passion, something I do to bring joy to the most people that I can. No, I don't have an addiction, I have a passion, others have colouring, guitar, drumming, filmmaking, cooking, and others, mine is simply magic.
Through the eyes of a magician, you'll see the world in a whole new way. Those were my thoughts on magic.
