My first video!

Hey there!

This is my first video where I’m performing card flourishes.

I am still a newbie, so I know that I lack originality and am always doing the same flourishes. Also, these are not as smooth as they should be, so kind making it a very average performance.

However, since this is my first video I would like you guys to comment on it and in which ways I could improve!

PS: the editing was made by a friend who does not understand anything about cardistry, so he does not know when it is a fail or when not, so there are many fails included in the video

First of all I want to say, that I really like this video - Even though the flourishes weren't 100% smooth...
What I find not so good about the video is not the editing, that's ok, but the filming.
It looks like the cameraman was more interested in running around than in your flourishes
You should built in more close up takes and less running over the beach.

Enough said; Practise the flourishes, and keep on filming this, with the "tip" I gave you in mind, so you will have a great video
in a few weeks or months

Yes, the guy who filmed and edited did not really know how card flourishes look like... He was more worried with the landscape, etc.

But I will try to make another video myself with the same footage, but with more close ups...

Well, I didn't think I could watch a 3 minute cardistry video, but I ended up watching the whole thing! I thought it was interesting; I liked the different take on the camera work for sure; you don't see that a lot in cardistry vids. He could use some work on proper framing, but it was still interesting and I especially liked the shots from underneath your hands; I've never seen that before. You're very skilled with your card work as well. Overall, I enjoyed the vid!
