Lets not forget Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale.

They both had to learn magic for the Prestige, though I believe Christian is a bit of an amature above and beyond that.

He performed alot through his years. He has great presence and is enticing to watch. His performance of the mummys curse(coffin?) with the muppets was incredible.

No he was horrible. Otherwise he wouldn't have gotten black listed from Carson. He also flubbed a ton of effects on Live TV and his ego wouldn't let him realize it.
