A few days ago i invited my friends around to do some stuff but they wanted me to show them some magic so i did.
I did Parallel out of Ultragaff They were like what the F*** it was funny.
Then i said let me show you this awesome linking rings routine so i showed them Shoot Ogawas Ninja Rings.
They were in aww when they saw this at the end of the video i asked
"Do you know how its done?" and they all said no one of them is quite smart one kinda dumb not really stupid though just an idiot and the other is pretty normal.
i thought the smart one new already but then i asked around and lots of people do not know how the linking rings are done because it used to be in those little magic set remember?
Well In the end i guess its like the balducci levitation lots of people dont know that and then when you put that little bit at the end that later makes them think you went higher thats magic.

well has anyone else run into this before sorry if it is a dumb thread

Shoot is the master.

I had the pleasure of meeting him at a magic shop a few weeks ago, and he is fantastic, if you ever bump into him, make sure to ask to see a trick.

As far I know, the Ninja Rings are only sold in stores in Japan, or online.

I currently have the gold set and the instructional videos (in Japanese).

For those of you who really really want these, I could try to help you out. I would want to talk to you via email or on IM to make sure you are serious about getting them.

I could pick em up for you and ship them to you (but would ask for pay pal payments first to ensure the transaction).

I would be willing to translate the manuscript that comes with them to English as well.

If you want a transcript of the translation of the VHS videos (not sure if they have DVDs yet), I could probably do that, but would take some time.

In anycase, I do like the routines they do. Takes a good amount of practice do the routines smoothly, but after getting the routines down pat, they are a great addition to walk around/ restaurant work. THey are small too!! so easy to carry around

By the way, the routine in the youtube video is the beginners routine. There is another VHS tape with a more advanced/ more difficult (way more difficult) routine.
