Hey Everyone

Just received an email from Lee Asher about his new magic documentary:
On Tour: with Michael Ammar.

It was probably the best thing I’ve watched in months I insist that everyone that has a spare half hour or so to watch these videos, you wont regret it.

Here are a few words from Lee Asher
“On May 10th, 2004, Michael Ammar began his X-elent Series Lecture tour. It consisted of 8 lectures in 9 days time. I decided to travel with Michael, and at the last minute, grabbed my Canon Optura 100MC digital camera. When the tour was over and I looked at the RAW footage, I basically managed to capture moments of Michael Ammar which show him in a way never seen before on camera. Remember, this was not planned or scripted in any way, and what you see is what really happened.”

Here is a direct to the videos on Lee’s site

One more thing Lee would really appreciate if you would take a few minutes of your time to fill out a short questionnaire and e-mail it back to him about your thoughts on the short doco.

Here it is
______________

QUESTIONNAIRE:

1. What was your favorite part of the Ammar documentary, and why?

2. What was your least favorite part of the Ammar documentary, and why? (If you could change one element of the video, what would you change, and what would you change it to?)

3. Imagine if I were about to release a brand new product, would you rather:
A. Download it as a PDF booklet (least expensive – no production costs)
B. Have it as a printed copy (mid priced – minor production costs)
C. Watch it on DVD (most expensive – high production costs)
D. Have Lee Asher to begin a magic open source code like Gnu/Lynx project (Steve Fearson suggestion)

4. If I could wave a magic wand used to help you improve your sleight of hand, what would you want to be able to do?

5. (Say out loud and complete the following) "I would come back and visit Leeasher.com more often if..."

6. If I were to go on a lecture tour similar to the one you watched in On Tour: with Michael Ammar (but in the Midwest), what would YOU personally like to see included in On Tour: with Lee Asher?

E-mail back at lee@leeasher.com
Hope you guys enjoyed the documentary as much as I did!

Cheers!

Sweet deal, glad you guys liked it also to add I just received another e-mail for Lee Asher saying this.

“I have so much to tell you!!!

I’ll start with the World Magic Seminar and the first ever Las Vegas Magic Film Festival.

Sixteen films competed for three prizes, judged by Chris Kenner, Rodney Reyes, Paul Harris, and Mike Close.

We, the audience, only had to view the best eight.

All eight films were worthy, but the winner clearly stood above the rest. It had to be the humor, cinematography, and great acting, which made it popular with the audience.

Would you like to know who won? Click the link below to find out, and read more about the Las Vegas Magic Film Festival.

http://leeasher.com/playground/articles/film_fest.html

I participated in the event by showing the magic film festival cut of On Tour: with Michael Ammar Parts One and Two.

What a thrill it was, to sit with hundreds of my peers and watch one of my projects on three large projector screens. It’s really not the same watching something at home versus in the theater with an audience. I will never forget that event as long as I live!

Besides being there to show the Ammar piece, I was given the Inspiration Award for the Five Card Stud.

Again, if you want to know more about the film festival, On Tour: with Michael Ammar, the Inspiration award given to me, or anything else cool which happened on this last trip, please follow the links above.”
