Yo,
So after a year of a ton of work on my palming (actually sitting down and practicing for a while, along with just sitting there in class palming, walking around with a palmed card, palming cards while I watch videos, etc.) I have gotten my 2 handed top palm to a good enough level where I can very very comfortably palm the card infront of spectators without them catching it, and it looks natural.
The problem comes with my ability to do a one handed palm - or lack there of. I think the one handed palm is much more powerful since I can just be gesturing with my hands and palm the card.
When I try to do it, the card ends up sideways, almost like gambler's cop, or goes flying off to the side. Furthermore, I have relatively small hands, so the card will almost always stick out, even if I do it pretty good, but not perfect (literally was unable to palm a card a year ago due to the the fact that the card was wider than my hand
Until they grew a bit. Now they barely fit, but I get it done. Also sucks when you are given no chance at getting 1st pick in basketball when you're a captain). Now normally I would be fine sticking to a 2 handed palm, but I really want to learn moves in Marlo's action palm such as the Riffle Shuffle Palm which require a one handed top palm.
So do you guys have any advice? Which direction the pinky goes is really confusing me, as well as how much pressure to apply. I also randomly end up picking up 2 - 3 cards and dropping some while practicing it.
While we're on the subject, is there a way to palm cards while doing the pass?
