One way backed Guardians

In your opinion, is the one-way design more or less subtle than Tally-Ho circle backs?

I'm sure there must be others but, the most subtle one way card back design that I have seen is on the split spades.

I agree. The Guardians are one way, but not done in a useful manner.

If you are performing and must quickly pick out a card, you should do so without drawing attention to yourself. With the Guardians, you will have to look closely at the cards to find the correct one.

I also believe the other deck used in this example is not a good one way design. It's TOO obvious and the spectator will be able to also easily see that you are up to something.

The middle ground is where we need to be.

I have already used these one way backs to my advantage, so they are useful. If you spread the cards it's quite easy to pick out the reverse if you know where to look.
