I was thinking on buying Panic and wanted to know how the gimmicks can last and how much does an extra gimmick costs?

$7.95 for an extra set of 'em, and they last quite a while depending on how much you use them. Trust me, for an average hobbyist, they'll last pretty long if you take care of 'em.

Replacement Panic gimmicks – as Steve stated – are available for $7.95 by submitting a support ticket.
The gimmick for Panic should, with proper care, last for a long while. Obviously, there's always a chance that it gets damaged or lost, but I’ve had mine for about three months, and I doubt I will need a replacement anytime soon.

I've had my gimmick since the beginning of October, and it's still in pristine (very good) condition. If you purchase Panic and are worried about losing the gimmick, put it in something which will protect it, and make sure to know where it is. But, it should last you a very long time, just like Jack and Steve said.

To be honest, It's kind of hard to break/wear out. As long as you handle your cards with care, and don't spill stuff on them or tear them, your gimmick will probably last a very long time.
Barring any underwater performances of Panic, it should last as long as you take care of it.
I keep mine in the case that it originally came in, something that I think others should do.
