Pass/shift/steal

There are many different handlings and variations of a move that allows to control a card to the top. I'm basically asking for every move that you may know of that accomplishes that wether it be a type of pass, shift, or steal or any other move for that matter. And where I might learn it. be a book or dvd. Thanks.

Learn the two handed shift from Erdnase (the book is like 10 bucks off amazon.). You can learn the steals also from there but are in more detail in Card College.

seriously though man, why in holy hell would you need to know every single pass shift or steal. like you said they accomplish the same thing. lets learn logic and maybe learn ONE of these in which you have done the effect of ALL of them. it seems a very smart person like yourself could figure this out quickly. unless your a move monkey, then well, get eddies s***/. but chances say your not. just my opinion.

peace man.

Because, like vernon, he has this affinity for card techniques and cheating moves.
He might be more than a move monkey and loves to read about the history about the moves.
Maybe.

I agree to some extent with what u say here but I know from experience with showing my friends, wife and coworkers new effects that they start to suspect something when I always do a pass or a double undercut. Rather than always spreading the cards and letting them pick one, sometimes doing a spec peak and a side steal to the top or something else that is different will freshen up your performance. However, if you are performing for strangers, then learning one control and mastering it will be the most beneficial.
