Playing Card Designs

Hey Guys,

I have been coming up with design ideas for playing cards with a friend of mine, who also posts here. We were after some feedback on what you guys think. If you have a preference to what you think is the best looking. Any suggestions?

I also liked 3 and 5. I would always prefer white borders over black though...this is why I am glad T11 chose not to go the E route with the dark design and kept the white borders...so much nicer!

I'm not hatin', I'm just saying what I see. I know something about graphic design and those are very weak concepts. It looks like someone spent 5 minutes in Photoshop. Sorry.

Well when it comes to A personal customization it doesn't involve graphic design but more on the side of ART...what you think is good, is different to the person next to you would think. No matter how good these back designs were created there will ALWAYS be someone that doesn't like it at all. Sadly, in this world you can't please everyone. Graphics Design wasn't a big factor when designing these, my friend and I were looking for a design for our personal use. And just to comment on this: "It looks like someone spent 5 minutes in Photoshop" - its not how long you spend in photoshop that will tell you how good a work is. Its what you do in that 5mins that stands your work out from the rest. Now I'm not saying this is the best thing ever, Its just something me and my friend played around with. But thanks for your comment anyway.

Ok,now dont go saying that he does not like the cards,it's bacause probably that person did not work hard on the graphic design.But thats just his opinion.
If a movie in theaters comes out,not everyone in the world might see it because they might not like it.

I think they are to fancy/futuristic/computerish. They should be more traditional, they are after all supposed to be on playing cards - not in a computer game. As mentioned, they are too abstract, something should be depicted, like an angel riding a bike.

I'm not a huge fan of black decks, but if I had to choose I would say number 3 but change the borders to white. Keep up the good work!
