could somebody tell me, who know the advantages and disadvantages or storing cards?, like what would be the best way to store them, that would most likely prevent warping..., or just in general.like how do you position them?(dvd style, flat, long-ways).

just wondering, for future reference, so i dont screw myself. by warping them. then openeing a new deck, and getting a nasty suprise...

Well, to be honest...

I don't do anything too special when it comes to storing my cards. My decks are usually in top notch condition just by keeping them in a over sized box in my closet, and whever I open a deck and use it, I keep it in my porper clip.

I find that colder enviornments are the best for cards.

I've NEVER had a deck of Gaurdians warp or anything, and all of my decks that I've opened so far are amazing.

I hope this helps. If you have anymore questions...feel free to shoot anyone of us a PM.

you know, just this morning I was thinking of building a card cellar.

like the opposite of a humidor, to keep cards dry and cool.

That's actually an interesting concept. You could always convert part of your closet space to become that "card cellar". I imagine that all you would need would be some kind of a storage unit and a nice fan of sorts.

Good thinking.

isnt the batcave a huge card cellar? :p Maybe Chris and Katie would like to share on their storage expertise?

As for me.. keep in dry and cool location out of direct contact from the sun..a.k.a a wooden box under my table :p

In my room, I just cleared out two big drawers of stuff I don't use any more and put my cards in there. Also, my room is probably the coldest room in the house so that helps them. I think that just laying the decks flat might be best for them.

I keep my cards stored in cardboard boxes inside my magic cabinet. I think they are probably best to keep them in a dry and cool enviorment. I keep mine lengthwise if that helps.

Havent really thought about this concept this much
