I just bought prophet and i love it but i just have one concern. Does the gimmick ruin the bills? I mean are you able to take it apart and use them if needed?

where do you usually keep the prophet gimmick right before performing. i keep it in my wallet and pull it straight out, but because its in my wallet, it is squeezed together and i can never get the break without looking suspicious. any advice?
