One of the things that I noticed in the Prophet demo video was that he didn't really show the bills on both of the sides, basically he handed out one bill and then went right into the change. Also, he seemed to be holding the bills together very firmly, it just didn't look as natural as the bill switch by richard sanders that will remain unnamed but begins with E and ends with N. So I would like to know if you can show the bills cleanly on both sides. If you can't, I think it is safe to say that that is one of the big differences of what sets these two switches apart. Either way I would like to compare both of them, so I guess I will probably get Prophet anyway. In the end they are both visually stunning and both have they're weaknesses, as said elsewhere. Also, I think you would get the same reactions whether you did Prophet or Sanders bill switch, so ultimately it is a preference which is up to the magician.

You can show the bills exactly like Richard Sanders does it. Both products use the EXACT same gimmick, but Richard Sanders adds an addition to make some of the changes possible.

Really? They both use the EXACT same gimmick?

I read in the forums and the FAQ that you create Prophet's gimmick while I inferred from Sanders' site that Extreme Burn's comes with the DVD package. So does this mean you can make EB's gimmick?

And if this is so, then does this mean that Prophet can be considered as another handling of EB and the gimmick. It says so in the FAQ that they got Patrick Page's blessing, why not EB?

All the info going around the forums are really starting to confuse me. I read a forum thread and EB sounds like the better buy, then I read another and now Prophet is better. I'm confused.

The method utilized for Prophet is not the same as that of Extreme Burn. The gimmick, as mentioned in the Prophet FAQ, is different, which in turn naturally derives differences in handling thereof.

Thus, while both are based upon Patrick Page's original "Easy Money" gimmick, Prophet and Extreme Burn are not accomplished using the same technique. Further, the Prophet gimmick, in my one percent unbiased opinion, allows for much greater control over the change itself -- with a simple snap of the fingers (and no movement whatsoever with the bills) -- as seen in the preview video -- the bills instantaneously change; however, to each his own.

Regarding the original post, you can cleanly, cleanly -- and casually -- show both sides of each bill with Prophet, a point which Tom Isaacson emphatically discusses and emphasizes in order to to look as natural as possible to your spectators.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
JTM
