I just bought it actually to see what it was all about after reading your post, My assumption was some kind of fold in the bill or something, but it's a gimmick.

Nothing high maintenance though. I've not tried it out yet so can't really comment, but it looks cool on cam, I imagine it looks cool in real life too.
