Public Groups

Hey T-11 crew!

i was just surfing around, taking a look at peoples profiles...i noticed one of the fields was public groups. i then looked around the site and saw that there was no way to join a public group...or start one. well my question is..what is that field for...is it just there...are are there going to be public groups?

Public groups are a feature on vBulletin if I remember correctly. Forum owners could choose to activate it if they want.

Mitchell is right -- public groups are a standard feature of the forum, though I'm not sure if it's activated. Public Groups are groups that users can join and be put into based their own tastes and preferences. It's not a facet of The Wire, to my knowledge.

Nice guess, though.
