Texa$, with a dollar sign
I didn't want to hijack CrazyClements thread. So here it goes. I love the works of Tommy Cooper and his way of performing magic comedically.

Which is the sort of magic I want to do, and 'Counterfeit' looks ripe for mischief. However, questions must be asked!

1) can any type of card be used?

2) can he card be a signed card?

2) can you 'adhere' the pieces of the card in a mismatched way? (Most important part)

Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you mean Counterfeit by Wayne Houchin then I have answers.

1) can any type of card be used?
Yes.*

2) can the card be a signed card?
No.*

2) can you 'adhere' the pieces of the card in a mismatched way? (Most important part)
No.*

*If you mean blanks for the first question then you shouldn't worry. In fact, I think Counterfeit would work better with blank cards.

*The instruction doesn't allow for autographed cards. That said, if you get creative with the handling or the flow of the routine anything is possible. This level of tinkering is beyond my expertise but I'm sure there's a way to pull it off (it just may not flow as well).

*Again, you can't. If you can somehow gaff it so it is mismatched then it would be doable. It isn't straight up impossible, but you will have to deviate a lot from the original handling.

Sorry for being cryptic, I don't want to expose anything.

Hope this helps,
-Bryant

I don't know about counterfeit but I have combined Dan Harlan's Krazy Kash and Jay Sakey's Mismade Monopoly to make a signed, torn and restored, mismade Monopoly bill. It just doesn't work with a playing card (Unless you have gaff making skills like Blake Vogt, which I lack)
