Quick eXile Question

I know eXile is very new, and not alot of people have this yet. However, I was just wondering how thick the ink is on other members pens. Meaning, on the DVD it looks very thick and visible. However on my own hand it seems very transparent, almost like the ink is fake. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

All you have to do is keep writing with it. Like many roller ball pens, you may have to keep scribbling with it. Just keep scribbling with it and eventually you should get it to write nice and dark.

I hope that helps!

Yep. I'm experiencing the exact same thing. Definitely not the same ink/pen used in the Blaine special or the T11 trailer.

If you follow Doug's advice, it should definitely help. In addition, shaking it a bit - in order to just get the ink flowing from the brand-new pen - may do the trick. But the pen is the same used and seen in David Blaine's special and in the trailer/DVD - it just might need to be "broken-in".

Hope this helps.

Thought I'd chime in here. Note that the pens we supply you with in the eXile package are the exact same pens DB brought around the country, although some do vary in color.

Regarding the writing difficulties, since you are using a new pen with a new cartridge you will need to scribble a bit and shake it gently to get the ink flowing - just as with any standard pen. If you continue to have difficulty, do not hesitate to contact our support crew 24/7 to help you out.

Hope this helps!

I will keep trying, but I am sure that the ink is flowing corectly. I use fountain pens all the time for my work so I know when the ink flow is working. It just seems that the ink is very watery or weak in the rollerball. When I write an X on my hand sometimes I have to go over it like 4 times before it is very visible.

Dang, mine is most likely coming today but from what I'm reading I'm not too excited. It seems like its just like TNR. Too much hassle for too little of a effect. The materials sound a bit flimsy. Hope this isn't the case for me.

JB and crew....there hasn't been a lot of people that receive this effect yet so the jury is still out in terms of usability and quality of the materials.

However, if the majority of the people have the same opinion as some of the initial reviewers, are you planning on releasing replacement materials so that we can perform the illusion effectively? For example, if the pen really doesn't write well, would there be a replacement released?

Thanks,

Baller

The pen seems to work better on smoother skin. When practicing on myself (I have very wide groves for finger print marks (not sure what they are really called)) for example, the pen may take more than one time to make a dark mark. When I did the trick earlier today on someone, it showed up much better on their hands (and the trick blew their mind by the way). Also I have noticed if you hold the pen more at an angle, more of the ink will come out. If you hold it straight up and down it seems a bit scratchy.

It still is not as dark as I want it to be. But with more practice I have seen that you just have to adjust for the trick.
