Hey all,

I recently start to work on stack deck, and the one I am working on is Aronson Stack.

I am wondering how many stack decks are there?
I only heard of Aronson, Si Step and Mnemonica stacks.

Thanks !!

Yes, Mnemonica are very reccomended by me aswell.
Lots of great stuff in there, everything you'd want to know is in there.

However, the title of the book kinda threw me off on the method:p

Just use the one you got, otherwise you'll end up being confused and annoyed with all the different stacks. Find ONE you like and stick with it.

Nothing against Lewis but the players stack is not that good. Essentially it is just 8 kings with a different poem. It cannot really stand up to any form of inspection. The big three that are mentioned as being 'random' are the Aronson, Mnemonica and Osterlind's Breakthrough Card System. Whilst the first two are true memorised decks with no real order other than the fact that the order is purely a memory method. The Osterlind one has a mathematical formula from card to card. However a lot of people who use BCS still use it as a Mem deck Just with a math back up if need be.

I use Si Stebbins (if I ever use stacked deck). Minimal memory is required, spectator can cut the deck as many times as they wish, and many tricks can be accomplished. It performs all the effects I want as a mentalist flawlessly, and seems (SEEMS) inspectable to spectators.
I would recommend trying Si Stebbins, see if you find it useful, then delving deeper.

I know it has less work on memorzation, but........from my point of view, it is too easy to let audience to notice the stack though.

Btw, do you know which material specially talks of the formulas of this stack?

Thanks.
