Hey guys, this is a request for a review on a few decks of cards.

I'm interested in purchasing Bicycle Fan Backs (New), David Blaine Split Spades, Red and Blue Wynns, and Steamboats.

I know that there are reviews for the Wynns, so no need for those. If anybody would mind posting their thoughts on the other decks that would be great.

Hi,

The Split Spades are very nice cards. The design looks incredible, and is very detailed. If you're going to buy the black ones, keep in mind that they are on a much thinner stock - but that's a good thing! They feel like a perfectly broken in deck of Bicycles right out of the box. Also, if you can get your hands on them, the White Split Spades are AMAZING.

Alright thanks Cory. The White ones were the ones I had my eyes on.

EDIT: Cory, would you mind telling me which one of these cards are the white ones you are referring to?

I don't own any of those, so I can't speak in personal level. i don't even know what Bicycle Fan Back is... But from what I've heard, Split Spades are horrible cards... At least from what I heard they are not worth the price, but as I said, that's what I gathered so far, sorry I couldn't be any more help.

The ones that say "Inverted Black."

I highly recommend that you don't order directly from David Blaine's site. It took many months for my order to arrive.

i ordered the split spades from davids site and from another place. if you plan on buying alot the i recommend davids site as i havent seen too many sites that offer just the new cards without the autograph.

i love the deck order and they are one way decks... it is almost impossible to find. they come with a blank card and a db card, i wished they didnt, as there could be alot of effects performed with the deck order just by performing a few false shuffles and cuts. these cards are cambric finish bee 92, meaning they dont fan as great as other cards, but some flourishes can be great

fan backs are a new "vintage" bicycle remake. i have a few of these but i havent messed too much with these. for the one pack i opened it had two blank cards. they do look cool. i dont know if blue feel different from reds yet... :p

i dont have wynns. let me know if you want anymore details about bee split spades and fan backs.

I'll make a review for the Split Spades later today unless you already found one. But I can tell you right now they're pretty dang cool, and you probably won't regret getting them.

Thanks for that. Can you compare the Fan Backs to Rider Backs? Do they feel similar, or the same?

Also, the Split Spades have been compared to Tally Ho cards. Can you say anything about that?

Thanks,

David

Well, seems like most of your questions have been answered, so I'm going to be lazy and hold off on the review. :D

as far as the fan backs, what little ive used them feel similar to rider backs.
the split spades that i have are the bee stock. some of the court cards are out of the ordinary, ie king of spades is db, the queen of spades is supposed to have been his gf and is holding the four of spades. there are other people, but i dont recognize them.

the similarity as far as the tallyho one way is correct. i heard about it so i kept looking and looking. apparently there are supposed to be 4 or so such indicators. ive only found one. its alot easier to recognize than with the tally hos, but the design is so intricate, it took me quite awhile.

Thanks guys I picked up some Fan Backs and Split Spades at my local shop yesterday. The Split Spades (Black) feel like Tallys, and the Fan Backs feel like normal Bikes. I'll have a review up in a bit.
