Hi guys,

Just a quick question about rubber cement. Does anyone know if I can get this in Australia or is it called something else. If not or if so, where can i get this?

Also gaffed coins..... where can I get Australian versions. I've been using USA ones, but of course spectators just think that the coin is gimmicked otherwise I'd use normal Australian currency.

Thanks Scott.

Not living in Australia, here's the best I can offer:

For the rubber cement, the most common brand in Canada (and I believe in the US) is Elmer's Craft Bond Rubber Cement (Acid Free; temporary or permanent bond; dries clear). They're the same brand that makes most of the popular glue products here (everything from white glue, to glue sticks, to coloured glue sticks). If Elmer's is a popular brand for glue in Australia, then you may want to check some craft shops (I got mine at a craft shop; note that I live in Canada), or maybe even some hobby shops.

As for the gaffed coins, you'd likely have to check any local magic shops, as I'm sure they'd order Australian coins over any others. If they don't, you may be out of luck, but if you search the internet you may end up finding some (I'm not really sure, as that's not something I've really searched for).

Best of luck on your hunt for both items! :)

If you have a bike shop around, I heard you can find some rubber cement in bike repair kits. So check those out. If you have a Wal-Mart or an equivalent department store check out the arts and crafts section. You may also be able to find some at a hobby shop.

:)
