Sandwich tricks?

If that was to throw aside any PDF/Book suggestions, I really suggest you try learning from these sources...otherwise there is a wealth of information you are passing up.

If not (or regardless) I beleive Penguin has a sandwich ID.

Fish Sandwich or Oreo Sandwich are from Penguin i believe. You're better off getting a book or something.

Jeff Teo's Sandwich effect is great.

OK but I cant find any on penguin :( and I would really like on lol :(

I got "Fish Sandwitch" from penguin... You learn very basic method and one where all happens in spectators hand

Then i use one that i created. Card is placed in the middle sticking out. Two jacks to the top and then i push the card in. Just one snap and the cards is between the two jacks...

Oh man I have several sandwich effects, I can't decide which one to use primarily, I like all of them, 3 plus 2 created ones, but I don't like performing them together... Dilemma!

Anyway, they are:

Dirty Stinkin' Ape in the Middle, from Tyler Wilson's book Dominatricks. Pros - Clever, very clean, natural misdirection only one fairly easy move needed. Cons - Provided patter can be a little corny/inadequate imo. Generally my workhorse, the one I perform most.

A Simple Sandwich, from Aaron Fisher's book The Paper Engine. Pros - Uses only one sleight, simple construction, solid and tight routine in every action, invisible. Cons - That one move is fairly hard. Doesn't appear as visual/impossible as the other two imo. I perform this less but it's very solid. With Gravity Half-Pass down it's also invisible, no-one can tell something happened.

Half-Vanish, from Daniel Madison's Dangerous Vol. I - Mystique. Pros - Creative routine, moat visual of the three, incorporates a nice vanish. Cons - Most complicated of the three to perform, harder to get perfect and it'll be obvious if it's not perfect. I'm still practicing it but it'd be more suitable for energetic small groups if you've got them on side.

Another one on the same DVD is Catch - I don't like it and don't use it, I don't like the flourishy style combined with magic, and even the DVD performance is hesitant and sus imo.

I like all three for different reasons and perform them in different situations. Hope this gives you a few more leads..

I would also recommed one of Daniel Madison's sandwich routines.

Daniel Madison is quickly becoming one of my favourite magicians, you won't regret buying any of his products.

Dangerous Volume 1 is great, you get 2 different sandwich effects and many other brilliant effects as well.

Another one on the same DVD is Catch - I don't like it and don't use it, I don't like the flourishy style combined with magic, and even the DVD performance is hesitant and sus imo.

I agree that Catch looks slightly awkward in the performance but I think with a few slight modifications it looks much more natural and is very impressive. Of course, if you don't like displays of skill in magic then it's probably not for you.

Daniel Garcia has one of the most impressive and impossible looking Sandwich routines on Volume 2 of the Daniel Garcia project but it is very difficult. If you don't mind the practice then this would be a good choice.

The Sandwich effects on Penguinmagic are decent but are certainly not the best in my opinion, I would not recommend them.
