Typically each cartridge included with Smoke produces 100+ puffs of smoke. That is a low end estimate, I have experienced more myself. You receive 4 cartridges when you purchase Smoke, meaning you are looking at 400+ 'puffs'.

Each cartridge gives you "at least" 100 performances. I have found that I end up getting many, many more than that. I have experienced easily over 200 per cartridge. 100 is simply a good, low number that you should always achieve, no matter how big of puffs you use or how well the catridge was made. It is just a low ball number.
If I were to say how many you get in real life, I would think that you would expect to get over 1000 puffs with one gimmick pack.
