Specific Coin Magic Dvds

Hello everyone. Ever since I took up coin magic half a year ago, I have developed an interest in 1-coin routines; sleights of hand which encompass a single coin. I was just wondering if any knows of coin magic Dvds that offers such specifications, or more of as such, because there are so many coin magic Dvds out there. I enjoy playing around with a single coin, hence routines like spellbound and any other routines with more than a single coin do not interest me as much.

Also, the routines i have are usually production, vanish and reproduction. Any ideas to help me spice up the routines? and where can I find the specific resources?

Well some dvd's that come to mind would be Apollo Robbins and Shoot Ogawa's Cultural Exchange dvds. There is a good deal of coin work in there and you could use much of it for a 1 coin routine. David Stone's dvd, either 1 or 2 has a great 1 coin routine and of course Sick by Ponta the Smith has a great one as well.

You've posted an interesting question that kinda limits your performance to a vanish and a reproduction...which limits the amount of "spice" you can add into your presentations. However, there are some great resources that feature 1 coin trick effects.

You won't find these in DVDs but the following books are excellent:

L.I.N.T - Luka In New Tops features Ron Bauer's Magic Coin which is the best Coin on the Forehead presentations I've ever seen.

Kort - The Milt Kort book has a lot of coin work including several one coin thru hand presentations and few presentations using the L'Homme Masque load

If you can find the S.A.M issue with Alain Nu on the cover, he had an interesting handling of a coin production, vanish, reproduction and a final ending vanish. Although if its presentation advice you are seeking, I'd recommend any of the Private Study series at www.thinklikeaconjurer.com

check out michael vincent dvd on coins he'll teach you all the basics you'll need and also he discuss about your remarque on just production, vanish and reproduction
he's a very good teacher , a mentor and a wonderful magician

Homer Liwag's Trifecta 1-on-1 has 3 vanishes taught, and as you can see, he makes a little routine using all of them with only one coin in the trailer. The reproduction isn't taught although there are many you can find if you look hard enough, I only know one and don't know the name.. sooo... yeah.
