well to me it depends on your skill level with the move if you got it down to chads speed i think you could pull it off he evens does a trick with 3 people around him on his left right and middle

Basically - to most people, no. Technically, it's possible if you get it smooth enough. And smooth enough is basically Chad's speed, so yeah... I wouldn't rely on it under surrounded performance circumstances though unless I was VERY confident... I'd rather just control the angles and then perform it.

There is no real answer. Even if if you can do it at "Chad Speed" it is still a little off looking. Tricycle (the effect on the dvd that is done surrounded) there is still a little flutter with the hand. Chad is a very strong performer and can keep the attention off the deck.

In short it is not as much of a burnable sleight but it is nasty as a nothing happened sleight. You can hide a lot of the hand movement by shaking the deck if you intended to use it as a colour change or a vanish.

I actually think Jordan Lapping is better at the clipshift than Chad himself. . . I'm pretty sure that if you do the clipshift THAT well, than you can do it surrounded. Here's Jordan's performance - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxKsKx7CA1w

I don't think it's possible to do it surrounded regardless of how good you are.
People on your far left will always see something.

If you want to do it surrounded you would have to use misdirection, as I believe Chad does. Whenever he uses the Clip Shift as a control he does it when the spectators aren't looking at the deck.

Even if your doing it faster the Chad Nelson people on one of your sides and behind will see it if theyr looking att the deck.

I think the clip shift is a fun move to play around with, but for real life performances i think there are better ways to accomplish what the clip shift does.

It is not possible to do Clipshift surrounded.

Possibility of Clipshift beeing executed successfully surrounded has NOTHIN to do with the speed or "smoothness" of execution.

There is an angle, where people will see whats going on, if they are not misdirected.....oh wait...there is ...i almost overlooked that one..

if you are acutally able to execute the whole clipshift within a blink of an eye and you are lucky enough to execute it right in the moment the spectator blinks..than you are good to go....

man i will try that....or should i go make my guess in the lottery?...hmpf...where is my cheese...
