Hello guys,

here is my first topic, I am french, so be gentle with me guys ( I don't forget girls too).

Here is a little video i made home presenting a little variation of the be kind change from Tony Chang as a small ambitious card routine phase.

No talking in this video, no misdirection too.

I just want to know from you if you like the idea or could help me to get it better.

Technically, pretty good. Nice job on the mechanics of the change. Keep working on the getting the, "im just holding the deck," natural feel to it though.

Two things to think about.
1: Why show the top card, put it into the middle, and then have it go to the bottom? Why not just randomly choose a card from the middle? I know you said its an idea for somewhat of an ambitious routine, but even then so, it is kind of out of place.

2: Mechanics of your DL. You have a very apparent/ strong, "hi, I am doing a DL, card bend" when you are turning over the DL. I would focus on this first =).

Keep up the fun practice.

Thanks for your comments guys.

responding to tokyoUW, when I first did some ambitious card for my friends, the always "going to the top" was good, but could be improved to my eyes.

For me, alternating between card to the top then to spectator's hand then to mouth then color change then to the poket is excellent multiple unpredicted shocks each time the card is revealed in so many ways.

That's why I'm in a double lift situation in the beggining, then at the end going to the bottom, giving the opportunity to DL again and having one step ahead.

After that, what has really changed in the 'change' is not the change in itself, it was the first part for not revealing how it works. The first part in the official tutorial by Tony Change is for me way too hard and moreover ask a perfect conditioned deck which is not always the case if it is a borrowed one.
So I felt that finding a simpler solution for the preparation of the change without altering the effect would have been a good variation.

For the comment on the DL, the cards were pretty used.
My double lift is initially the snap double from Larry Jennings.
I'll try however to be more gentle with thoses cards.

Don't hesitate to reply, I already have an ACR routine, but sometimes I just want to make it better with some variations.
