a few dayz ago i did the whole learned pig website thingy and i was wondering if anyone else is already a member and what to expect and how long it took to be accepted. for those of you who dont know about it it is a public domain site wit tons of pdf's of magic tricks and what not

I became a member a few weeks ago, and i have to say that it's a really nice site! I havn't had the time yet to check all the material out yet, but i'm sure there's something for everyone in there.

It took about 1-2 weeks for me to get approved.

Great site, alot of awesome material. remember alot of the older stuff is dated but there is A lifetime of study material.
 
Hey I am starting to take card magic alot more seiously and have just registred to LPP and was wondering which books i should read in particular.Any help or suggestions wanted.thankyou in advance.

Check Paul Rosini's Magical Gems ( I think this is the name ). Also, check Fred Braue/Hugard Miracle Methods booklet, there is one on stacking and culling. If you want to do gambling demostrations where you show off dealing poker hands, this is an amazing booklet.

Other books are great fun for reading history. Check Hugard's Card Manipulations as too.
