The Trilogy in Order of Difficulty

I ordered The Trilogy a few weeks ago and am very pleased with it, but would like a little help. I'm rather new to "real" magic per se, as in what I've mostly been dealing with before has been the crock you find in magic books in Barnes & Nobles. I don't have amazing technical skills or knowledge, and so would like to start out with the simple stuff first. So far I've attempted the Tivo 2.0 (and it hasn't gone too well) as well as the Molecule Four, which I am getting pretty good at; I can do the Tokyo quite fluently. Anyway, to the point:

Could anyone list me in oder of easiest to most difficult both the tricks and the flourishes, or link me to a page where I could find such. Thanks a lot!

Hey man! Welcome to the forums!

The easiest flourishes would be on the "Flourishes 101" section in the disc labeled "Everything Else (Disc 3)" It's at the very bottom of the menu. Those should be where the beginner flourishes are. If any problems, please contact Dan and Dave Buck (if it's anything I can't do). If there's something I can do, hit me up a PM.

Yeah; I've already looked through the 101 section and learn a new bit every now and then. However, I'm doing reasonably well with the Molecule Four (just as good as most of the videos on YouTube, anyway) and am ready for the easier stuff on the actual Flourishes DVD. A general idea of which manipulations are easier and which require some mad skills would be very helpful so that I can know where to go from here.

Well I found subway to be the easiest, the rest is really dependant on what you are personally good at. The flourishes, The easier ones are Molecule four, Akira, Eko and Mecha although Mecha is a little bit nacky.

I think the easiest tricks in the trilogy are subway, card across, and card to mouth. Tivo 2.0 's change is killing me *It's sick though* haha, but then again it all takes time.

The easiest I think, is subway. Practice it for 8 months and your good. At the first 2 months I couldn't get "the move" down. Now I can, 8 months.

The easiest fourish, would have to be molecule4. For me.

Are you kidding? The easiest one seriously takes eight months? How often/much did you practice? I've been doing the Molecule for a month or so and have it down pat, as a frame of reference (I can spend about six hours a day practicing flourishes, changes, and what not and in school). That flip change in the Tivo got me too. I can do it in a straight deck, but with that one card sticking out I only get it one or two times out of twenty.

Thanks for the help, everyone.

Thanks everyone! I've learned hand to mouth and am working on the precursor (forget the name- goes from hand to hand). I spent about three days on it and yes, I can do it blindfolded. I performed it for a couple after about 1 1/2 days of practice and it worked smoothly, though I'm getting better and better at it. Showed it to a couple guys at youth group and got a pretty good response.

I still don't understand how subway could take eight months, assuming it is about the same or a little more difficult than hand to mouth...

I'm working through some of the flourishes 101 material now so that I get a good base for tricks and such. Thanks for the pm, it's really helpful, and thanks again to everyone.

I think, the eight month thing is either that it took eight months for him to do it perfectly or was a constructive way of saying practice alot before performing.

I don't have the Trilogy, no need to put in a reccommendation in a later comment I'm convinced its good...just having some money issues, got $155 and I'm hesitant of spending 70 of it right now.
