Alright i bought the Wizard Pk DVD along with my wizard dark pk ring. It arrived today and Ill share some of my thoughts about the dvd

Thoughts/First Impression: The gentleman who is teaching on the dvd could annoy some with his monotone voice and he stutters quite a bit. He never gives his name. I think the man/creators of the dvd focused a bit too much on penetrations for my taste as three of them have the exact same handling.

Tricks:
Coin Thru Can
Glass Bottle Penetration
Plastic Bottle Penetration
Matchbox Penetration
Psychic Matchbox
Stopping Time
Haunted Deck
Deck Penetration
Coin Transpo
Psychic Coins
Coin Balance
Chopless Chopcup
Haunted Fork
The Haunted Cherry Tom
Beer Mat Penetration

Practicality: Obviously you need a pk ring to do all of these effects. Some of them, such as the bottle penetrations require tedious set-up. If you're a more spontaneous performer avoid the bottle penetrations. The aspect I hated most on the dvd were the coin routines. It's very difficult to do those routines in America without buying multiple steel core coins. (The performer was from England) Other than that the effects were quite practical, except for the haunted deck. It's best to go with loops or an M5.

Teaching- The teaching was decent but the gentleman's voice could bother some and he really flies thru the explanations

Video Quality- The quality of this video was very very poor. I don't know if I'm just used to T11 quality or what.

DIfficulty- The effects on this dvd are all really simple but can pack a big punch.

Overall- The teaching, video quality and lack of routines that didn't use coins were very off putting. Other than that the dvd was fine. 7/10

Just a few notes:

For the haunted deck routine, if I'm using my pk ring, I tend to play it as a "static electricity" or even a "chi/chakra/etc" demonstration, as I don't hide that I'm touching the deck (I'm just transferring my energy into the cards, having them cut to the selection, by only touching the top card).

For the penetration routines, the only one I really do is coin (usually penny) through can. It's not all that tedious to do the setup, and you can even have them (or you) cover the opening (with tape, for example), making the effect all the more impossible. This routine kills laypeople.

As an aside, I definitely want to pick up one of the dark wizard rings. Those look beautiful. :)

The wizard dark is magnificent. I wasn't talking about the penny in can. I'm talking about the bottle cap penetration. I DO NOT care for that set up. lol. The dark rings are really strong and do not break easy. Get one!
