This saturday that just went by I tried to order like 60 decks and 2 t-shirts from the store. Since I live in Sweden that comes with a kind of big shipping fee.. The order dropped at 290 $ and I was happy with that anyway.
Yesterday (monday, 2 days later) I got an email telling me that I got to send them a picture of my ID and creditcard, is this a common thing that happens often? to be honest I don't feel so good about doing that kind of thing.

Anyway since I'm off for a couple of days I won't have the time to do it, and even if I had I don't have a good enough camera at the moment. What to do??

and will we are at it, does anyone know how long time it will take for a shipping to Europe?

hey man, best bet would be to submit a support ticket for confirmation on that email. Sounds kinda weird but i dont know all that much about international shipping. Submit a ticket and im sure they can clear things up.

Email back to confirm it is, indeed, theory11 contacting you.

If it is, the quality won't matter it's the thought that counts. They want to make sure that you are legitimate and the fact that you will try to take a picture for them means a lot. Put yourself in their shoes. They don't want to be screwed out of $290.

This seems rather odd. I could understand why they would ask you to do it but I have never heard of this being done before. If you think about it, there are websites that sell products well over $295 and don't ask for such a thing from their customers. Then again, it could be T11. Don't send anything until you're sure. Submit a support ticket. Maybe JB will see this post and chime in.

This has happened to me on another magic site before, legitimately (although the customer service was frustratingly poor, and delivered by someone who can only be described as an imbecile lacking solid substance where it counts).

It does seem kinda weird that they want you to take a picture. Normally, it would only be your credit card number. I suggest you do the above stated and you will get a prompt return email. If not that, you can always PM Jonathan Bayme for clarification. He usually responds within 2 hours. And because this is a serious matter, he will probably respond a little quicker. Theory11 is very good about getting problems solved efficiently and quickly.

Good luck!

You can contact our support crew by phone (or support ticket) to verify - but this IS in fact a normal method of verification for some orders in rare occasion. It is for your safety as well as our own. When you go to check out at a store (like Gap or Walmart), they often ask to see your driver's license or ID - this is to make sure you are who you say you are (and not someone else that may have stolen your credit card).

We only ask for verification like this in rare occasion, but our support crew is on point and very focused on your security and prevention of unauthorized charges. If you ever have any doubts or questions or concerns, you can always contact us to resolve within 12 hours, guaranteed.
