In angles, it isn't that great. Maybe 180 degrees infront, but the other 180 degrees behind the card is completly exposed. BUT nonetheless it's a fantasic effect!!!!

It's pretty cheap to make the gimmick, you could probably get everything you need at walmart for only $10 or something. Not bad. The actual effect takes some practice though. It's not too hard but just needs some practice so you can make it work right for your audience.

Hope that helps ya out! :)

Don't get it. I got it, and the gimmick is pretty time-consuming to make. I know many people who got it and never bothered to make the gimmick. You might not either.

Personally, i feel that the gimmick was quite easy to make. If you are profficient with making creative cardboard artwork, or just christmas cards style decorations i think you can pull it off. It will take you aobut half an hour to make you first gimmick, and it will be sort of a test. (you would understand why once you buy the trick).

The angles depend on how you perform. if you go for the whole tabled situation, then the angles can be quite good, unless someone is looking over your shoulder, the angles would be sort of like in a pass. This is the begging. The actual restoration is virtually angle proof, but you dont want anyone standing over 45 degrees to your left or right.

I bought it. Gimmicks are a bit time consuming, but they won't take long after you learn to do them. Takes a while the first time when doing it with Kenner.

Personally... I don't use it. I don't mind gimmicks. Sometimes I love gimmicks. However... this I don't like. It is VEEEERRRRYYYY gimmicky. I also don't like the handling. If you want it then go for it, but don't expect to perform this for many people at once. The most I'll ever get out of this is a cool webcam video. (That's not exactly a good thing.)

You could just buy the book "Drawing Room Deceptions" by Guy Hollingsworth and get tons of content+his TnR. Or even when you spend a bunch at penguin (over $50) get Reparation by John Lovick as a bonus. Or you could just cough up $30 for reparation by itself, but I think if you are going to get stuff from penguin anyway, just get it as a bonus. This looks more like you just kinda used stick tape, it doesn't really like the card heals itself, it still looks quite torn up and just held together by something.
