So my best friend moved out to California in mid-March, and later this week I'm flying out for a visit. During this trip, and I'm sure this will be the highligh of the trip, we get to attend the California Magic Dinner Theatre and see Gerry Griffin, David Hirata, and last but not least... Joel Paschall perform. So it's going to be awesome.
Afterwards, Joel said I could hang out with him for a little bit, so I'm going to take some pictures, maybe do a little magic (If I can work up the nerve!).
Then, the next day we're taking a train to San Fransisco. I'm not sure what we're doing there, but I've been promised a magic shop, and if we're lucky I'll see my first real live busker!
Just by chance... can I expect to see anybody at California Magic the night I'm going (May 31st)? It'd be cool to meet some users from here. Well, I'll update this thread later in the week after I find out more of what we're doing and everything. Also, does anybody know if there are any magic shops in Modesto? On Friday we won't have anything to do, and my friend told me to make a list (as if I know the area!). Katie, I know you can be a big help here! Thanks, guys... keep it real, homies.
