what is the quality difference between straddle and mechanic grip in bottom deal ?
It seems to me that the first one is the same of the second one, the only difference is the position of the little finger.
To my mind, the difference is that a straddle grip gives more stability, and therefore makes it easier to get a clean take with no hangers, enabling a more certain strike bottom deal. A mechanics grip, however, looks more natural.
