Underground Moves

Alright I've been hearing people say that some moves are underground, and people are underground like Devo. What do they mean by this, is it like a hidden community were exceptional card artists gather and create moves, and how do you become a member or learn these moves, since Devo and Dan and Dave always create moves that aren't published and say that they are underground. .

I always thought that underground flourishes were somewhat ridiculous. A magic trick i can kind of understand, but if no one sees a flourish, then it's somewhat pointless. I know some people don't want the public doing their move, don't want it to be as commonplace as a charlier, or simply done badly because of people not practicing. Therefore, they only show/teach it to their friends.

So, to answer your question, to learn these moves, make some friends high up. To become one of these underground people with underground moves, practice until you're really good, and create moves that you only show to an exclusive few. The people who see them will know how good they are, the people who don't will know of your skill and assume that your move is good.

Most of these artists are actuall bizarre mutant mole-people living in tunnels underneath the earth.

Ever wonder why De'vo wears that wierd cloak? To cover up his hideous mutant-mole face. "Moves" is actually a code-word that translates into something along the lines of:

"Before long, We shall emerge from
Underneath the earth where we have
Lain for such a
Long period of time

Soon, we shall strike the
Humans up above the surface
In their giant cities,
Teeming like horny rabbits."

If you're under 18, don't read the acrostic...

This site seems like it is boing to be another IBM ring or something. On the myspace page it says applications available soon. Sounds interesting. And to answer your question about underground moves, they are basically sleights of effects that have only been shown to a select few.

Yeah, I know that I stumbled across it when I was looking for a DVD version of Lethal, but I now know that I'll only be able to download it. I've got to hurry and get it before Daniel decides to take it off of the market again.

$31.69 isn't a bad deal for a flourish download of his calibur.

I know that I'm going to do my best, and practice as hard as I can as well as some brain storming so I can have a better chance being accepted into the UMC.

The teaching is not DIFFICULT like some people says, its not so easy that a kid that has 8 years old will understand it.. but its not difficult, for me its nice.. the teaching its easier than the system... flourishes are cool.. There are some flourishes that I dont like.. but someothers that I really love.. I prefer the system or The trilogy (flourishes volume)..

Now coming to the topic.. for me ''underground'' its like when u have a trick and just u or ur close friends know it, but its not published
e.g. diggital dissolve, panic,
Asher Twist.. Lee has some time performing it and some of his friends knew that trick before he explained it on a conference or he officialy published it on the market.. for me thats a nice example.. lee correct if I'm wrong.

Ah! Thank you so much for telling me that about Lethal. I'm seriously thinking about picking that up sometime soon.

Yes a lot of products when released say that the moves or the tricks are underground. It doesn't mean these performers are hiding their faces to the outside world and not showing who they are.

These moves are basically so hardcore material that when used they have great impact on their spectators. That simple move could possible move the entire crown and get shattering reactions. Possible these tricks could also be used a bit rarely and only a few lucky people would have got to see such tricks.

Most of the effects we would have seen on the TV or on the net on various video sites. But these effects are just a rarity. Seeing them happen is a great thing by itself.

That's what underground material is!

Cheers
