Hello,
I am wondering about USPCC's new policy of all of their cards being only air-cushion finish.Has T11 found a way to fanagle out of this rule? I was really excited to try out the new 909 premium finish on the sentinels, and would be supremely dissapointed if it was gone. ANY feedback from the theory 11 staff would be much appreciated.

Technically most cards are the same basic finishing. The process for bikes, studs, and bees are all the same for the finish, but bikes are supposedly air-cushion. Studs are supposedly linen finish, and bees = "cambric finish". I heard it's somewhat of a combination between air-cushion and smooth finish, though I have no idea how that works out.

Our team works very closely with USPCC - particularly their research and development team. This extends not only to our cards, but the printing process in general. As an example, today I received a package from USPCC containing two decks with a new, experimental finish. Our task is to test the finish and report our findings and professional opinion. The goal is to consistently raise the bar and improve durability, feel, and finish. Especially with the Sentinels, I think we've done just that.
