I am a web offset printer and have always been fascinated by how USPCC achieves the Air Cushion finish. The embossing is quite rudimentary- it's a die that is pressed onto the card. The real question is the coating. I must have tried 30-40 different solutions including UV, aqueous, oil etc in different proportions and sub types without any avail.
If anyone has an idea of how the technical specs of coating, I'd be thrilled and huge thank you in advance.
