Utility devices to MAKE magic moments.

so you've probly all seen the smoke effect that E sold a while back; and some of you may have heard of fism flash or as the one market now is called flashburst. but is anyone familliar with any other devices that accomplish a similar effect? something that gives a peice of magic that might not be so visual, it's visual moment of pure magic?

i know you could concider psychology/suggestion one of the most powerfull tools like this, but i am looking for actual physical gimmicks that accomplish these effects.

I have not seen the smoke thing u talked about, but if it is just to produce smoke there is a rather fun way to do it in Daniel garcia's Warning

The Gimmick you speak of was called the Ultra Smoke 2000. There is an effect on the market called portable flamethrower. I have the link but its advertising to post it. Look around I am sure you will come up with it. It is more of a gimmick than an effect but by the looks of it a 2 foot flame shoots out of your hand.

i got Ultra Smoke 2000, but other magical stuff r Electric Touch, Ghost Vision, and Fireball , hope that helps.

yes ultrasmoke is it. i forgot about electric touch, that too i would concider one of these utility devices. ghost vision. is this the trick by andrew mayne? if so, i wouldn't concider it in these ranks. fireball however, what is this effect? is it the one where you can hold a ball of fire?

also the portable flamethrower might be something in these ranks, but i can modify a normal lighter to shoot a 2 foot flame lol.

this is a good start however, i'd like to keep the discussion going if possible to gather all other effects in this rank.

Is it possible to use the Ultra Smoke 2000 and the Electric Touch together, or will one short the other one out?

If you've got a type three (I think that's right) weapons license, you might look about incorporating hand grenades into your performances, as they produce a very dramatic effect. Just palm it, pull the pin, "cook" it for about two or three seconds, then, during a moment of misdirection, throw it directly up in the air for a huge, dramatic explosion. Just make sure you get rid of it before it blows your arm off, and throw it high enough so it doesn't blow your head off. Adding moments like this to your ACR or LOOP work can really create a very magical moment.

yes its possible, i know how both work and i have Ultra Smoke 2000.

ghost Vision has many use if u know how its done, and Fireball is were u shoot out a mini fireball out of your bare hands....it can be used for many purpose...like fire ball in 1 hand to other making it a sponge ball... look it up on Penguin magic...it will have the trick there with a vid of a guy using it.

From what I understand...if you are looking for a device/effect that will allow the illusion of holding a flame look up something called "Fickle Fire". It's a bit pricey, but it seems worth it.

i'm not looking for any effects, i'm just trying to discuss and gather different effects which provide this extra visual moment of magic.
