In a cave.
I can't do it well if I'm not wearing tennashoes. Try:

Having a smaller packet.

Not spinning the packet so much (I can only spin the thing in one full 360 before it hits my shoe)

And not kicking so hard.

Hope this helps. The middle suggestion is normally the answer to most people's problems. Everybody thinks that they are supposed to whip it...

Hope this helps,

Here are some general tips for aerial moves:

-Use small (ish) packets

-Use powdered or worn in cards

-Press the packet tightly together before the launch to get rid of any air in between cards that could cause the packet to break apart

-Don't ask for tips on the first day you've attempted the move

-Practice

LOL darian pretty much laid it down. I'd say the problem is probably your cards condition because its a really easy move. can you "hackysack" a regular footbag? using shoes with a nice flat spot helps too.

cant you sello tape some cards together? i know it seems impractical- but that's how i learned what the hell happened to sybil. (Sellotaping four equal packets and doing the move over and over and over...)

as it got speedy, i just removed the sellotape. i can do the flourish now. (though not as quick as tudor. =])
