Hello, and welcome to this week's edition of the wand street Journal. Your (mostly) weekly(mostly) Unbiased magic newspaper. I'm so sorry for getting behind recently. I'm back and hopefully it will stay that way. Hopefully I'll also be able to enter some more Sncs as well.

Recent research shows that teaching Magic to Mental Health patients may be beneficial.

Although Most Magicians are against revealing secrets to laymen, there can be exceptions. According to a research by the NHS (National health services) that Teaching and practicing Magic and card tricks can improve the self esteem of mental health patients.
I'm sure many fellow magicians will agree that magic does improve social skills. Some patients were too timid to even say their name to their nurses and doctors are now showing them card tricks with their clever and unique patter. One patient who had yet to talk in almost 4 years is now almost a master at his patter and
performance. I know many magician's friendships most likely start with something along the lines of pick a card". It would only make sense to apply this for those who really need it. They are also looking for volunteers so I'm curious to see who would be interested in teaching it to local hospitals.

However, Many magicians may complain about exposure of magic. Others will argue its for a greater good. I am very curious to hear everyone's opinions on this topic.
Product of the week: Sansmind's vanishing sharpie
This week Sansmind's unveiled a "reskin" of their vanishing pen in a much more familiar design.

Cool find of the week: Lot of 3 magic dvds

This lot of magic trick dvds includes
Ace by Richard Sanders
Angle Z by Daniel Madison
Hampton Falls by Tony Chris

Bidding starts at 10$ so it may be a steal for some interested in even just one.(I do not have a connection to the seller, nor do I gain a profit)

Performance of the week:

I thought I would take a break from the really big T.V performances and switch to a really simple casually performance. I like the use of simply idea to make a really comedic effect.

Weekly print out:

Believe it or not, we have a force reveal (SHOCKER I KNOW!!!). This reveal is much more obvious than some of the previous ones.
It's Halloween, so I thought I would do a SPOOKY reveal. It's very simple. Print this out on a piece of paper and frame it as a "decoration". So when your friends come over for maybe a Halloween party and you start your Halloween routines force the J♠. Then redirect them to her nose.

Another idea is to download this on your phone and set her as your lock screen or wallpaper.

Usually this is where i would put my patter, but I want you guys to come up with a unique patter and post it below. For ideas you can read the previous Wand Street Journals.

Weekly Idea: :( Sadly i haven't had time to record any footage, and I don't want to type out a crappy idea that is just confusing. I'll wait to next week to post that one....Hopefully.

Final thoughts: Clearly this is not the greatest Edition of the Wand street Journal, due to the lack of the idea section, patter in weekly print out and only 1 news story. If you noticed the image for both the weekly print out and top story may not be the greatest photoshops in history, but I thought I would try something new. I am very curious to hear every ones thoughts on teaching magic, for medical purposes. It is my first week back so I apologize for being Rusty. (Pun intended;))

Here are the previous Wand street Journals:
