What a night!

So I'm auditioning Friday night at a new club/bar called BoomerJacks downtown Fort Worth and everything goes great. I performed Liquid Metal, Reset, Stigmata, and DG's Personal Safe and everyone was floored by my performance. Well the GM offers me the house magician job. $75 an hour no less than 2 hours a night plus tips was the negotiation plus they will provide the table tents and advertising 3 nights a week. We'll I get home about 1 am and I feel a pain in my stomach and I just thought it was something bad I ate anyways I went to bed. I woke up at 4 am yesterday with a pain worst than anything I have ever felt it felt like I was shot in the stomach. So I went to the emergency room and after several test and a CAT scan they discovered my appendix was about to burst so I went in for emergency surgery at 7 lastnight and the rest is history. Anyways I'm just laying here and recovering with orders to be bed ridden for the next 3 days so I guess I will have alot of reading time on my hands or be on here. So I just wanted to share with you guys. By the way they told me that I had a stone in my appendix as large as a quarter and it was the largest the have seen they seemed to be really excited about it I guess someone has too.

Yeah they said I cant lift anything for two weeks but I should have a full recovery just sucks cause I feel like I had the living tar beat out of me.lol
I figured I'll use this time to read up and learn Tommy Wonders Tamed cards trick I bought the book and cards I just need to read and practice it. I have loved the trick since I've seen it on YouTube. Here's the link.

I have a couple of routines I switch in between table to table. I have been working as the house magician for 2 other places for the past year but the work has been chaotic on my scheduling. I will still be working at the club on Mondays but I probably won't be working at TGI Fridays anymore if I get 3 nights at BoomerJacks due to the money being better. You know whats crazy is these meds do a number on your sleeping. I was dreaming last night that I was in a magic store and everything was kinda set up like a comic store where everything is in the middle of the store and I was walking down each hallway looking at all the stuff then I breifly walked by a lighter baby blue and black card box and had to take a second look at it and it was DG's and WH's Gaff deck with a special attachment box with it and I was like holy C#@p how in the heck is it released so soon here and I heard a voice and I looked up and it was Wayne and he was saying "Yeah I like that gaff set I use it alot too", and I was like HUH dumbfounded and then I woke up. Man it seemed so real anyways I'll stop with these threads it was just funny to me.
